I don't always relate to my users.
Sometimes their world is completely different from mine.
That's exactly why I listen before I design.
I'm drawn to the hard problems. The ones where the gap between how a product works and how people actually use it is costing someone something real.
I think about design strategically, not just aesthetically. If it doesn't serve a goal, it's decoration.
